While some were treated to a lovely sunrise, like folks in the Champlain Valley, others are seeing some clouds, fog and a bit of rain.
A line of showers are cruising to the east, bringing embedded heavier downpours into the North Country and the Champlain Valley by mid-morning.
Behind this first batch of rain, the cold front lay draped over the Saint Lawerence Valley. That will continue the trek eastward bringing a chance for showers and storms once again early this afternoon.
Once that front clears the region, high pressure takes it’s place, bringing with it sunshine and plenty of blue skies for Monday night and Tuesday!
Here’s is how the week is shaping up:
Monday: In and out of sunshine and clouds, with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temps climb to the upper 80’s with dewpoints in the upper 60’s and heat index values touching the low to mid 90’s
Monday night: Clear skies, with a few areas of patchy fog developing by daybreak. Upper 50’s to low 60’s
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Less humid! Mid 80’s
Wednesday: More clouds than sun. Showers and thunderstorms. Mid to upper 80’s.
Thursday: Mix of sun and clouds with a few leftover showers. Mid to upper 70’s
